Decluttering/Part 1:Bags and totes

One of the types of items that I absolutely enjoy are bags. If there is something that is designed to hold items, I’m interested. lol I enjoy all types of bags and purses but I realize that I don’t need everything. This is not coming from a place of wanting to only own 1 purse, 1 tote,etc. No, I enjoy have choices but not too many choices. I’m realizing that for me, too many choices are more trouble than they are worth.

I don’t like just looking at my bags, I want to use them all. Everybag needs to be in the rotation. There was a good reason why I brought each bag into my possession BUT that doesn’t mean that every bag needs to stay with me.

I talked about this on my YT channel and made a few decisions with some of my bags. I still have more bags to think about but I was able to let two bags go and that is progress.

One of the bags that is leaving is a very cute mini leather backpack by Coach. It is the Coach Charter mini backpack. I purchased it second hand, I know that “pre-loved” is the term right now but let’s be honest, it was used and that’s fine with me.:-)

Back to the bag, I really think that it’s so cute and fun. It is color-blocked the majority of the bag is leather besides the back portion and the straps. Although I really really want to make the bag work, it’s not for me. At this point in life, I don’t like to waste money on bad purchases but if I realize an item or decision is not working, I’m going to make a change. The bag is quite difficult to open for me. I did see a video of someone with the bag and this may not be other people’s issue with it. I’m sure someone else will be able to enjoy this bag but I’m not keeping it.

The next item that I’m saying bye to is an Adidas tote. There’s nothing wrong with the bag. I just don’t use it, I already have another tote bag that takes care of my needs so that one is going as well. Here’s the two bags that are leaving my inventory below.

There were several bags that are staying with me for now. They do not take up a lot of space and for now, I really enjoy using them. If anything changes then I will provide an update. Here are the bags below:

After the pic uploaded, I noticed there is a recurring theme of black and brown. That’s okay, it’s what I like. 🙂 What are the color preferences for your purses or bags? I do have a navy tote and a purse but I’ll be able to show those in later posts.
